Program Design
The Course Creators I.D. program is a comprehensive 90-day commitment tailored for creators who have launched a course but are looking to improve it, or who have taken countless workshops and courses on course creation but still feel lost in the creative process.
This program provides participants with the skills, tools, and principles of instructional design best practices to help them enhance their current course or create a new one from scratch. The goal is to help course creators foster an environment that promotes student success and enhances the learning experience for their students.
The 90-day program offers a variety of resources and support, such as course content, 1:1 or group coaching calls, planning and design activities, a resource library, and a community for networking and sharing resources. These resources are designed to help participants revise, repurpose, and enhance their course content, with a focus on providing students with an exceptional learning experience that promotes their success.
Participants will complete a five-milestone process throughout the program to effectively design course content. These milestones include planning, designing, developing, reviewing, and evaluating the course content.
Upon completion of the program, participants will have a completed and enhanced course that is ready for launch or relaunch. Additionally, participants will have access to continued support and resources through membership plans that include group coaching sessions, professional workshops, co-working sessions, and community support.

Action Research Project
Beyond the Four Walls: Creating a Blended Classroom with Technology - Full Sail University, Winter Park, FL
While teaching for ITT Technical Institute in 2010, I was faced with the growing need for innovative ideas for teaching design in the classroom. My design students were all eager to learn; however, our resources were limited. Therefore, I decided to use my Action Research Project for my Master Program to explore methods for improving learning outcomes, retention, and overall student engagement.

Curriculum Development
A Lesson On Color Theory
The following lesson is a Color Theory Worksheet. This worksheet is apart of the Color Theory Module design to develop the students skill and knowledge for mixing and recognizing colors. This worksheet was designed to walk students through the process of creating color mixtures using acrylic paints, however, it can also be completed digitally. During this hand's on lab, students were instructed to mix the paints to create colors and paint the color wheel following the directions on the worksheet. Once students have successfully completed the worksheet, they were assigned a final project requiring them to create an original color wheel incorporating the skills practiced during the lab.
Adobe Kuler (Adobe Color CC)
This video was created to introduction students to Adobe Kuler (Now Adobe Color CC). After completing the hands on lab, during which the students mixed the colors by hand. We then began to use Adobe Color CC to explore digitally mixing colors to create color schemes to use in their design work.
