How do you currently capture student thinking in math?

Let's take a few minutes to complete the following brief Google Form.

An Ongoing Journey

Starting Simple - Image & Video

  • Don't forget your Camera App! It's a great first stop on your journey of documentation.
  • Flipagram: Too many pictures to document the learning experience? Bring them together within minutes with Flipagram. The annotation and voice over tools allow you to further explore
  • Pic Collage: although a tool we often use ourselves in the classroom, pic collage's editing tools can let us be creative in how we show everything from fractions to our knowledge of 3D solids

Bringing in Student Voice

Being able to quickly, not only capture a picture of the product, the process, but then also capture student thinking is one of the biggest benefits of the apps below.

Documenting over Time

As you collect a variety of artifacts of learning you will want to organize them. It's hard to suggest one tool as we all have our own styles and approaches. You may want to explore Seesaw, a digital portfolio tool or Sesame Snap, an assessment tool.

Check out there websites for more detailed information.
