HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE - CSU is 15-2 in the last 3 seasons when playing at home. The "Blue Crew" student section has created a hostile environment for opponents to play in.
All-Time buc Greats
Charles James (2009-2012)
Charles James came to CSU as a walk-on and ended up earning a scholarship and All-American honors during his Buccaneer career. He holds the career record for 12 interceptions at CSU. He is currently on the roster for the Houston Texans after spending time with the New York Giants and Baltimore Ravens. He was featured on HBO's Hard Knocks and became a fan favorite.
Maurice Price (2004-2006)
Maurice ranks second in Big South history in career receptions and fifth in career receiving yards. His 9.43 receptions per game were tops in the country following a 103 reception season in 2005. He was signed by the Kansas City Chiefs and spent time on 6 different NFL rosters. He has been a star in the Canadian Football League winning the league's Gray Cup in 2014 with the Calgary Stampeders.
Collin Drafts (2003-2006)
Collin Drafts was a four year starter at quarterback for CSU and finished his career with over 90 touchdowns and 10,000 total yards. He quarterbacked CSU to it's first ever Big South Championship in 2005 with a thrilling overtime victory over Coastal Carolina. He was also named to the Big South All-Decade team. After re-writing the CSU record book, he enjoyed a 6-year career in the Arena Football League.
