Snow Reported On St. Pete Beach, Florida PHOTOGRAPHY BY ROBERT NEFF
Well, the waves looked like snow...
Pounding surf churned the water. It's normally calm and glass-like.
Bit nippy, but sun was out. I was still in shorts.
Southern point of St. Pete Beaches is called Pass-A-Grille. Vista views all the way up to just about Clearwater.
View Northwest makes the condos look like they are rising out of the water.
Shorebirds like when the winds kick up the surf.
Sure that isn't snow?
I was sitting in the sand to take these shots. Aiming for the waves. Photographers can argue where I should have had my focus. My reply, "Should have been with me taking shots of me making sand angles!"
All this before 10 A.M.

ARTIST STATEMENT: Robert Neff’s contemporary art is dynamic and vibrant, and engages the senses. His photography and storytelling are the inspiration and basis for his fine art. Nature and life’s colors, tones, and shapes are transformed into mixed media art work. Design studies are used to explore geometrics, color, and patterns. As your perspective changes, so does the design. His approach changes how your vision interprets everyday experiences.
During his solo show at Art Miami’s Spectrum Miami, art lovers were drawn into his fine art work. His style drew comparisons to Vasarely and the Op Art movement. One collector from Uruguay compared his style to "Constructivism" and the great Uruguay artist, Garcia.
Robert’s fine art constructs a new perspective that tells a story you can appreciate and share. Never again will you take the world for granted nor see it in the same manner.
