Tech Tip Thursday April 7, 2016

Have you ever had email regret? Maybe you hit the send button accidentally, or you forgot to attach a document before you sent it out. We all make mistakes and Gmail has you covered!

Gmail now has an UNDO SEND feature!

You can stop an email from being sent for up to 30 seconds after you press the send button!

Here's How It Works:

First, log in to your Gmail account.

Go to your Email Settings.

Look for the cog in the right hand corner of your screen.

Check the ENABLE UNDO SEND box.

The Undo Send box is under the "General" tab

Be sure to adjust the cancellation settings.

You can prevent a message from sending for up to 30 seconds!

Try it out!

Send a practice email to yourself!

As soon as you hit send, a message will pop up at the top of your screen.

Click UNDO to cancel the message!

It's THAT EASY!
