Pink Trumpet Tree Along Coffee Pot Bayou PHOTOGRAPHY BY ROBERT NEFF

The tabebuia tree is highly ornamental tree. They are commonly referred to as "Trumpet tree" and named after their four colors — Purple, gold, pink and silver. This is a genus of flowering plants in the family Bignoniaceae. They have 1- to 4-inch wide funnelshaped flowers, flaring mouth, bright pink blooms that hang in clusters.

March 4, 2016. The blooms were bright pink.

Four days later the pink blooms were noticeably darker.

This tree is located at the corner of 23rd Ave NE and Coffee Pot Blvd. NE.

Seven days later the wind blew the blossoms off the tree.

Nature and life’s colors, tones, and shapes are transformed into mixed media art work. Design studies are used to explore geometrics, color, and patterns. As your perspective changes, so does the design. His approach changes how your vision interprets everyday experiences.

During his solo show at Art Miami’s Spectrum Miami, art lovers were drawn into his fine art work. His style drew comparisons to Vasarely and the Op Art movement. One collector from Uruguay compared his style to "Constructivism" and the great Uruguay artist, Garcia.
