Wildlife Art Field to Studio - Opens to Public Friday

Opens Friday March 31st

Flinn Gallery - Wildlife Art - Field to Studio • Greenwich Connecticut • Opening Reception March 31st - 6-8pm - Greenwich Library, 2nd Floor - 101 West Putnam Avenue

This fine art exhibition - Wildlife Art: Field to Studio - features 7 artists who are united by their reliance on and dedication to extensive field work.

Alison Nicholls • Susan Fox • David Rankin • Kelly Singleton • Karryl • Sean Murtha • Carel Brest van Kempen

Each of these world class artists has honed their skills sketching, sculpting, and painting wildlife directly from Nature... all over the world.
In addition to right here in North America... they travel extensively all over India; throughout the jungles of Central America; to the remotest regions of Mongolia and the African bush... studying wildlife anatomy and behavior firsthand.
The entire creative process is revealed in this exhibition as field work and studio work are presented together and given equal weight.
Despite their diverse styles and media, each artist shares a deep knowledge of their chosen region.
knowledge that can only be gained by spending time in the places where their wildlife subjects live.
