City Lights An american in paris

Last night, Jan. 15, City Lights Show Choir officially premiered their new show, An American in Paris. Energy ran high, as the students finally got to show a live audience their hard work. But their journey isn't over yet. Clinicians viewed their performance and immediately critiqued the students, instructing them what to change and what to sharpen. Soon, the students will take their show to a competition, hoping to snag the coveted Grand Champion trophy.

"I think the energy from the audience, especially during the second show, was so intense and I think it really brought out the performances that we should be giving. It's just so fun to perform for an audience especially when they are our friends and parents and they are so supportive and excited." -senior Gabbi Schust

Senior Gabbi Schust throws her arms up during the opening of the show. This is her third year in show choir.

Junior Sarah Merrifield, senior Neil Cathro and junior Grace Kendall pose right before their quick change, when the girls reveal blue flower dresses, still in line with their 50s Parisian theme.
