It’s The Holiday Season!

At this time of year, many people celebrate.

Some people celebrate Kwanzaa.

Some people celebrate Chanukah.

And some have Christmas.

We like to be good friends to other people all year long.
But this is a time to do something special for other people.
We will be collecting food for friends and neighbors who might be hungry
We will get big boxes to put the food in.
We will cover the boxes in pretty paper.
We will put pictures of yummy food on the boxes.
Our mommies and daddies might bring food to put in the boxes.
Our teachers will bring food too.
When our boxes are full, we will give the food away.
We hope our boxes have lots and lots of food in them.

It feels good to be a friend and help.
