Das erste Koordinatorentreffen unseres Erasmus+ Projektes fand Anfang November in Bucharest statt. Es war sehr spannend, unsere neuen Partner zum ersten Mal zu treffen.Diese kommen aOus Polen, Portugal, Italien, England und eben RumÀnien.
The first coordinator's meeting took place in Bucharest. It was quite exciting meeting our new partners for the first time. They come from Poland, Portugal, Italy, England and of course, Romania.
Die Schule orientiert sich ĂŒberwiegend an SchĂŒler, die eine Karriere im Fussball anstreben, aber dennoch zur Schule gehen mĂŒssen. Also stehen neben Sport alle FĂ€cher, die zu einer Schulbildung dazugehören, auf dem Programm. NatĂŒrlich gehen hier auch MĂ€dchen zur Schule, diese sind allerdings eindeutig in der Minderheit.
This school mainly addresses students persuing a career in professional football but having to still attend school. So all mandatory subjects as well as sports are part of their schedule. Of course girls attend this school as well, though they are in the minority.
Wir haben den Donnerstag und Freitag mit Planen, Diskutieren und allgemeinem Austausch verbracht. Da wir die nĂ€chsten zwei Jahre eng miteinander arbeiten werden, wurden entsprechende Aufgaben verteilt und ausgearbeitet. Das Thema lautet: " The place where we live" und es geht um die Gemeinsamkeiten und Unterschiede unserer SchĂŒler, Schulen und Lebensweisen. Halt um uns als Teil Europas
We spent Thursday and Friday discussing, planing and exchanging thoughts and suggestions. Since we will be working together for the next two years, tasks had ro be divided and worked out. Our topic is "The place where we live" And is about the similarities and differences between our students, Schools and way of life. About us as part of Europe.
Dennoch blieb genug Zeit, um die Stadt und Umgebung zu erkunden.
Still there was enough time to explore the city and surroundings.
Bucharest zeigt eine interessante Mischung aus alt und modern. Der Westen hat lÀngst die Stadt beeinflusst; Mc Donald's, H&M, dm, Starbucks, Ikea und Hagebau lassen ihre Spuren.
Bucharest has an interesting mixture of old and modern. The west has long influenced the city; Mc Donald's, H&M, Starbucks, Ikea and Hagebau have left their tracks.
Das Parlament, auch " Haus des Volkes" genannt, ist das zweit grösste GebÀude der Welt. Es wurde von 1983-1989 errichtet und sollte Sitz des Diktators Nicolae Ceausescu werden. Es besitzt 1.000 Zimmer, 12 Etagen, und eine FlÀche von 340.000 qm. Es wurden ausschliesslich Baumaterialien aus RumÀnien verbaut, zB 700.000 Tonnen Stahl, 900.000 qm Holz, 200.000 qm Teppiche.
TheParlament, also named " House of the People", is the second largest building worldwide. It was under construction from 1983-1989 and was intended to be home to the dictator Nicolae Ceausescu. The building consists of 1.000 rooms, 12 stories and a floorspace of 340.000 sm. Only Romanian materials were used, for example 700.000 tons of steel, 900.000 sm of wood and 200.000 sm of carpeting.
In den vier Untergeschossen gibt es Bunker und unterirdische GeheimgÀnge. Die Arbeiter, die diese Bereiche errichteten, wurden nach Fertigstellung durch das damalige Regime erschossen, um dieses Wissen nicht preis zu geben. Ceausescu wurde selbst 1989 kurz vor seinem Einzug exekutiert.
There are 4 underground levels with bunkers and secret passages. The builders who had worked in these areas were shot after completion in order not to pass on their knowledge. Ceausescu himself was executed 1989 shortly before he was able to move in.
Heute befindet sich das Parlament, der Kongress und Museen in dem GebÀude.

Ca. 180 km ausserhalb Bucharests liegt das Schloss Bran, an der Grenze Transyvaniens und der Walachai. Das Schloss ist allgemein als der Sitz des Graf Dracula bekannt und zÀhlt zu der touristischen Hauptattraktion RumÀniens.
The Castle of Bran lies approximately 180 km outside of Bucharest, on the border of Transyvania and Walachia. The castle is generally known to be home to Graf Dracula bekannt and is the main tourist attraction of Romania.
In Wirklichkeit wurde das Schloss im Jahre 1212 von den Teutonen errichtet. 1438- 1442 wurde es als Schutz gegen die Ottomanen genutzt und diente anschliessend als Zollstation an der Grenze Transylvaniens und Wallachiens. In 1533 fiel der Besitz an die Stadt Brasov und 1920 wurde es der Sitz des Königreiches von RumĂ€nien. 1948 ĂŒbernahm das kommunistische Regime Besitz. Heute liegt die Administration in der Hand der königlichen Erben.
In reality the castle was built in 1212 by the Teutonic people. It was used as protection against the Ottomans from 1438- 1442 and as a customs station on the boundary between Transylvania and und Wallachia. In 1533 the property went to the city of Brasov and in 1920 wurde it became home to the kingdom of Romania. The communist regime took over the ownership in 1948. ĂŒbernahm das kommunistische Regime Besitz. Today the administration is in the hands of the royal heirs.
