USC Pro Day 2016 March 23, 2016

Representatives from every NFL team convened at the John McKay Center and on Cromwell Field for USC's Pro Day on Wednesday to watch as a talented group of Trojans showcased their abilities in hopes of making their #USCtotheNFL dreams come true. The NFL-hopefuls started with indoor measurements and skills testing, including the vertical and broad jumps and bench press, then clocked in for the 40-yard dash and cone drills outside. The finale of the day featured each player participating in his respective position drills directed by NFL personnel.

Su'a Cravens

Wednesday provided a big opportunity for Cravens who did not run at the NFL Combine last month. Already impressed by his intellect and instincts, scouts had the chance to witness his on-field skills firsthand as they try to nail down which position suits him best at the next level. The Trojan is projected as a late-first to early-second round draft pick.

Tre Madden

It was evident on Wednesday that the former USC tailback has put in hard work in the last three months to prepare himself for his day in front of NFL scouts. Madden ran the fastest 40-yard dash of the day and led the Trojan participants in the broad jump.

Cody Kessler

USC's all-time passing efficiency leader took to the field on Wednesday to demonstrate the breadth of his game. Already known for his consistency in short-yard passing situations, the QB used his Pro Day as an opportunity to highlight his arm strength.

"You only get one first impression and I'm trying to make a good one." - said the QB after completing his workout.

Anthony Sarao

The New Jersey native returned to Los Angeles to showcase his NFL potential, looking to raise his draft stock with all-around athleticism. The linebacker impressed scouts across the board with a 35.5 inch vertical leap and a 9-foot-6 broad jump.

Kevon Seymour

The former USC DB had a relatively light day since he ran the fastest 40-yard dash by a Trojan in a decade at the NFL Combine last month. Seymour did however go through agility drills where he caught a lot of attention for his quickness and precision.

Soma Vainuku

Vainuku was by far the most versatile athlete on display for the Trojans, going through drills for fullbacks, linebackers and defensive backs to show the scouts he's willing to do anything to make it to the next level.

Antwaun Woods

While he did impress scouts in the position drills portion of Pro Day, the former USC defensive lineman was not able to bench press on Wednesday due to a pectoral strain sustained at the NFL Combine last month. Woods also pulled up short at the end of his second 40-yard dash with a sore hamstring, but still managed the best time of all USC defensive linemen.
