Purdue improved to 15-1 at home and has now won 21 of its last 22 games at Mackey Arena. The Boilermakers' 15 wins are the third most in the country and just one shy of the school-record 16 home wins set three previous seasons.

A.J. Hammons continued his dominant play with 18 points, 12 rebounds, two assists and one blocked shot. He now has 23 double-doubles, including four in his last five games, where he is averaging 19.4 PPG, 10.0 RPG, 3.2 BPG and 2.2 APG in his last five outings.

Hammons has scored in double-figures in 19 of his last 21 games. In games that Hammons leads the team in scoring, Purdue is 10-1 this year.

Hammons moved into fourth place on Purdue's career rebounds list after grabbing 12 more against the Wildcats.

Per 40 minutes this year, Hammons is averaging 24.1 PPG, 13.5 RPG and 4.3 BPG.
P.J. Thompson continued his remarkable run avoiding turnovers, now with just one turnover in his last 12 games (277 minutes). During that span, he has 29 assists against one turnover. He now has 75 assists against 11 turnovers this year, leading the country in assist:turnover ratio (6.82).

Ryan Cline continues to perform well, providing Purdue with three clutch 3-pointers against Northwestern. The freshman guard scored 11 points and now has made 9-of-18 3-point attempts over his last five appearances. His 36 3-pointers this year are the sixth most by a Purdue freshman in school history and he is shooting 38.3 percent from deep, the seventh-best percentage by a Purdue freshman.

Johnny Hill scored a season-high 15 points with six rebounds and three assists against no turnovers in a season-best 26 minutes. Hill also connected on his first 3-pointer since Feb. 7, 2015 against Louisiana-Lafayette.

Hill's 15 points equaled his scoring output from the previous five games combined.

Vince Edwards scored nine points with six rebounds, including five on the offensive end. Edwards is one of two freshmen or sophomores nationally to have scored 500 career points, grabbed 300 rebounds and dished out 150 assists (UConn's Daniel Hamilton).

Isaac Haas tallied eight points and four rebounds in just 10 minutes of action against Northwestern.

Over the last five games, Haas has scored 47 points in just 66 minutes, averaging 28.5 pts / 40 mins during that span.

Haas is shooting 56.5 percent from the field and 70.6 percent from the free throw line, averaging 10.0 PPG in just 14.8 minutes per outing. Last year, he shot 53.5 percent from the field and 54.7 percent from the free throw line.

• Purdue now leads the overall series against Northwestern 125-46, their most wins over any program in school history. Purdue is 39-5 against Northwestern at Mackey Arena.

• Purdue is now 14-0 on the season when playing on weekdays, compared to just 7-6 when playing on the weekend.

• The Boilermakers have scored at least 60 points in seven straight meetings against Northwestern, after scoring 71 points tonight.

• Purdue has now won 35 straight games, including a 17-0 mark this year, when attempting more free throws than their opponents (28 to 8 advantage).

• The Boilermakers bench has now outscored opponents in 25-of-27 games this season, owning a 36-12 advantage.

• Purdue has out-rebounded their opponents in 26-of-27 games this season, outrebounding Northwestern by a 45-24 margin. Purdue's +21 margin marked the fourth time this year that Purdue has had a +20 margin or better.

• The Boilermakers improved to 17-1 in games where the senior class scores 21 or more points. The group scored 35 points tonight.

• The Boilermakers are 14-0 on the season when committing 17 or fewer fouls (14).

• Eighteen of Purdue's 21 wins have come by double-digits.

• Purdue has now had nine turnovers in three of the last four games (Maryland, Michigan, Northwestern).

• Purdue has now led for at least 30 minutes of gametime in seven of its last 10 games, including five of the last six.

• Purdue is 9-1, including 7-1 in league play, when attempting 19 or fewer three pointers (attempted 13 tonight).

• Purdue now has 18 double-doubles this year, the most in a season since the 1996-97 team recorded 19 double-doubles.

Purdue faces Indiana on Saturday at 8:30 p.m. ET from Assembly Hall in Bloomington. The contest will be televised by ESPN.
