the yearbook needs your baby pictures!

The CSMS year book will include a "Baby Falcon" page featuring photos of students in their younger years. Photos can be submitted in several ways:

  • Send a physical copy of the photo to school your child. LABEL THE BACK OF THE PICTURE WITH THE CHILD'S NAME AND HOMEROOM TEACHER. Photos without this information will not be published.
  • Upload a photo to the server using the Yearbook Snap app. Search for "Yearbook Snap" in the app catalog. The school code for CSMS is csms2016. LABEL PHOTO WITH STUDENT'S FIRST AND LAST NAME BEFORE UPLOADING. Photos without this information will not be published.
  • Email photos to Mr. Koch at kochd@citrusschools.net. Please include the student's first and last name in the subject line of the email. Mr. Koch will send an email response upon receiving the image; that is your "receipt." If you do not hear from him within 3 days, he likely did not receive your photo.
  • Scanned images sent via email must be 300 dpi or higher to be published; otherwise, the resolution is too low to allow for quality reproduction of the image in the year book.

ALL PHOTOS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY FEBRUARY 21, 2016

Pbs news

The Citrus Springs Middle School PBS committee was recently notified that the school was awarded the Bronze Level Model School designation for 2014-2015 from the University of South Florida. This is the second consecutive year we have achieved this designation and our third award in 7 years. The award is based on data provided to the program for our behavior practices and resulting outcomes.

This banner hangs at the entrance to our main office. The school will be presented with a year designation sticker for our banner and a certificate that will be on display in the main office. The purpose of the FLPBS:MTSS Project’s Model School program is to identify schools that exemplify best practices in the implementation of positive behavior support systems.

Thank you to the staff, students and families of Citrus Springs Middle School for their dedication to our students.
