Kathmandu 9 days in Nepal

In September 2015 I spent 9 days working in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal. I helped to work on a image film for a carpet company which has its producing based there. Whenever I could I shot stills and videos with my little DSLR camera. This city is truly special.

Kathmandu Valley
Swayambhunath
mountain range just outside Kathmandu Valley
prayer flags
Typical transportation

Even though the people do not have much and just experienced the shock and consequences of a massive earthquake, they keep smiling and are happy. This happiness really affects you.

Thamel - crazy little streets
beautiful scenery at Boudha Stupa
Changu Narayan
Pashupatinath - world heritage site
Boudha Stupa - rebuilding progress after being destroyed by the earthquake
this city is unique and colorful

The time in Kathmandu flew by but I am really thankful for experiencing this place which is so full of energy. Thanks to all the people I have met. Surely I will be back, then exploring the Himalaya mountain range.
