In 2007, the average British Columbian read an average of 33 books.

Comparatively, those living in Atlantic Canada read an average of 22 books in 2007, those who lived in Ontario read an average of 19, Albertans read an average of 18, and people in Quebec read an average of 16.Lastly, those in Manitoba and Saskatchewan read an average of a mere 15 books.
