Back to my favorite — Grouper bites

Well, this is my story...

Fried oysters.

Sorry, I had to nibble.

St. Pete Beach, Tierra Verde, Isla del Sol, Bay Isles, South Pasadena, Pasadena, Gulfport, Tampa, Snowbirds, Canadian Snowbirds... they comes to the Shack for grouper.

Once you have done the Shack, you don't go back... to the beaches for seafood.

So Busted

Wash it down with bucket(s) of beer!

An assortment of koozies. Bring your own and leave them for someone else to use.

That went fast! Need to watch that guy in the chair.

No worries.

The Shack is located on the Skyway Bike Trail

Complementary bike parking.

What's the shack like?

It's around the marina office, out on the pier.

Outdoor seating.

Fresh Market inside.

Tables and window seating with a breeze and a view.

Buckets of beer sit on the rustic wood top.

The wait staff are wonderful.

Enjoy the yacht traffic.

Heading down the channel for the Gulf of Mexico.

Tampa Bay is on the horizon and downtown St. Petersburg is on the left. Minutes away.

Boats dock and have a bite at the Shack.

Storm watching is incredible. They usually go around the Shack.

Take in a sunset.

No shortage of sunsets.

Sometimes you need to turn around, look east and just enjoy the sunset's back lighting.

Try not to get whiplash!

Tampa Bay Pilot boats come into the boatyard for repair.

Life has its Priority.

Covered boat docks have old yachts.

Catamaran used to be a charter and sailed here from South Africa.

Fishing boats and charters leave from here. Book ahead!

The 90' Hatteras has a slip here.

Watch the boats in Boca Ciega Bay cross Maximo Channel.

No time to waste!

Easy access from the beaches, downtown St. Pete, and 275

Sunshine Skyway is minutes away.

The Shack has no cruise ship parking.

Treasure Island is minutes away.

Pass-A-Grille on St. Pete Beach is minutes away from the Loews Don CeSar.

St. Pete Beach and Trade Winds Resort are minutes away.

IntraCoastal Waterway side of St. Pete Beach.

Pinellas Bayway is easy access and offers great bridge walking. Loews Don CeSar is the "Pink Palace"

Beach and pedestrian traffic crosses the Pinellas Bayway to get to the Shack.

Gulfport is minutes away.

Or come by boat via Boca Ciega Bay.

Boaters come to Maximo Marina for the Shack to eat, grab carryout or pick up the freshest seafood in Tampa Bay. There is no other place like it!

Maximo Marina out-of-state owners, Bixby Bridge Capital, and the marina management, Island Global Yachting (IGY Marinas), do not have to close the Shack on 1 August. It's dock won't be started for one or two years.

Actually the owners and IGY Marinas have no plans for a restaurant. Yet, told Broadwater neighborhood they want to keep the Shack.

Maximo Seafood Shack is Tampa Bay and Skyway Marina District's neighborhood community lifeline.

Pelicans support the Shack!

All the rookeries support the Shack!

Maximo Seafood Shack is the world headquarters for #PelicanYoga.

The Pelicans are organizing a "Sit in" to protest Bixby Bridge Capital and Island Global Yachting (IGY Marinas) decision to close the Shack. Now they will have to relocate the #PelicanYoga world headquarters.

Saving the Maximo Seafood Shack is saving Old Florida. This means burning the midnight oil.

During his solo show at Art Miami’s Spectrum Miami, art lovers were drawn into his fine art work. His style drew comparisons to Vasarely and the Op Art movement. One collector from Uruguay compared his style to "Constructivism" and the great Uruguay artist, Garcia.
