meet to meet the SDG UNICEF Children's Rights and Business Priniciples - 13. May HCMC, 20. May Hanoi

Under the overall framework of the "Meet to Meet the SDG" Platform, UNICEF Viet Nam, Global Compact Network Viet Nam, VCCI-SDforB and UNIDO is inviting you to participate in two upcoming events on Children’s Rights and Business Principles, one in HCMC and one in Hanoi. The events will explore how the business community can take action on children’s rights in the context of the Sustainable Development Goals, exemplified with the findings and recommendations from a recent child rights impact assessment carried out in Vietnam’s Travel and Tourism Industry in 2015.

"It's their right! ... so it's your duty!"

How to use the 10 Children's Rights and Business Principles to contribute to a better world for our kids!

The Children’s Rights and Business Principles (CRBP) were developed and released in March 2012 in a global partnership between UNICEF, Save the Children and the UN Global Compact and launched in Viet Nam in November 2014 with participation and endorsement of the Deputy Prime Minister, leading Chambers of Commerce, Private Sector Partners and Civil Society Representatives. It is the first comprehensive set of principles to guide companies on the full range of actions they can take in the workplace, marketplace and community to respect and support children’s rights. The CRBP recognizes the tremendous positive power of businesses large and small, and seek to support the best business practices.
