Tincup Colorado

The founder of Tincup, Colorado was a prospector named Jim Taylor.
Tincup is a tiny town near Gunnison, Colorado. Is peak population in 1880 was 1443. It is now a ghost town, but some people live there. They paned for gold and silver.
Tincup, Colorado was a dangerous town. In 1882 a guy named Harry rivers died in a gun fight and one years later named marshal Andy Jameson was shot to death.
The town was originally called Virginia city, but there was confusion for the other Virginia city in Nevada so it was changed to Tincup because the founder loved Tincup.
This is where Tincup is located. It is located near Gunnison, Colorado
