So you are getting married! Congratulations. I am honored that you are considering me as your wedding photographer. I know wedding planning is a busy time and you must keep your budget in mind. I want to work with you to give you what you want. Photography is such an important part of your planning. It's the investment that you will hold in your hands long after the cake has been eaten and the guest went home. YOUR memories. Captured and protected for you to pass on to your children. Your new family's first heirloom.
I want to know all about you and your wedding plans, but let me use this opportunity to tell you what you can expect from me....
1. I LOVE WEDDINGS! Wedding photography has come such a long way since the times of posed, stiff photos. Now its fun and emotional. I will capture the little moments in between as much as the big moments like the first kiss. My focus is on you two, but I won't forget to shoot your mom crying or grandma wiping away a tear. It's the whole experience that I want you to remember. Weddings are one of these moments where family and friends come together. To celebrate YOU. When time has passed, loved ones have gone...these will be the images you can hold in your hands and remember how it felt that day and remember those who were in attendance. Weddings are all about emotions and that's what I thrive to capture in my images.
2. Light makes me happy! Photography is essentially the art to capture light. Warm, golden sunlight which wraps around you. A chilly winter day with white snow on the ground and you wrapped up into each others arms. Its all about the light. I will always prefer natural light to flash images, but I will bring it out on the dance floor and when needed.
3. I shoot digital with full frame cameras, but edit towards film. Grain is good. Blur embraces emotions. Shallow depth of field isolates the main subject and draws the viewers eyes into what is happening in the image. I capture what I feel, not only what I see. I carry two cameras, sometimes three. And for those of you who are into photography as well...I shoot with two Fujifilm X-T2 and fast prime lenses, I carry speed lights. Since the X-T2 came out I shoot only with Fujifilm (even though I loved my Nikon D750 also), because they are small and light and doesn't scare people and especially kids as it looks so low key. It has a silent function which is great in the church and I also use it to take mini video clips for the slideshow.
All my packages include a couples session...why?
Couples sessions are a very important part of my photography. Imagine it's your wedding day and you are meeting me for the first time...OR...you know me, you know how I shoot, you know how it feels to be photographed by me, we had coffee together, maybe we even became friends. Wouldn't that be better?
Here is how a couples session can look like...
One last thing....ALBUMS! Please, please don't let your images get lost on your computer. Print them. A story is best told in an album. Gorgeous layouts that spread over the whole album, little details, emotional moments...with an album you can have it all.
I understand that budget is important, so I offer different price points. From beautiful photo cover, lay flat albums in 19x19 cm and 28x28 cm to high end linen cover albums in 20 x 20 or 25 x 25 cm. All packages include some prints which I deliver in a wooden box which also holds your USB stick. I want you to have something tangible to "have and to hold" and pass on to the coming generations.

Planning meeting, couples session, lifestyle storytelling and portraiture photographic wedding coverage, gently and professionally edited images in high resolution for printing up to 13x18 cm (tonality, contract, white balance, exposure, skin tones etc. on all images, extensive skin and Photoshop retouches only on select images), a slide show as well as an online gallery for you to share with friends and family.
