Your Way

You're really into this game but have some trouble with Minecraft. Maybe it's just you've never seen many books... you need more information. This tells you so many tips that people think you're a hacker... now that's something to think about. The rating for this game is G so it's suitable for everyone.

This book resource is for average players who know the basics. This information has only been tested on the PC.

So are you going to be a professional? Or just sit there and do nothing? It's up to you. This game has always been updated even in special ways that I'll talk about later. You can mine for precious stones, or build amazing structures. Just a reminder that these photos have been taken myself and not copied from a website or images.

Before we get started

If you want to be safe in Minecraft here's some messages you might want to be aware of:

  • Be sensible in chat don't upset anyone
  • Never give out personal information
  • Play online servers at your own risk
  • Keep your own thoughts in real life to your self.

CRAFTY NEMESIS

This crafting page talks all about items that you'll probably forget when you start crafting.

Armed survivor

This chapter tells you all about how to beat nearly anything you verse. With some sneaky combat tricks that might as well save your life. Take that mobs you will never get the best of me.

Right clicking any sword will block or reduce projectile damage also blasts dealt by ghasts. Which is useful for getting the achievement return to sender.

Jumping while sprinting makes you run even faster. This can also be used to force more damage then your opponent, but be careful as this can propel you really far.

Always use shift key if you're doing parkour. Or building a bridge in thin air. As this is a great tip for seeking things below you. Always keep weapons, food and building materials just in case something unexpected happens.

Never ever bring your valuables with you unless you're willing to lose them. Make sure you don't get over confident or you could end up with a trip to the lava lake!

No mercy

Never ever team with people unless you trust them or they could back stab you.

Trusted people could be your friends family members or very rarely when some one says team in chat.

Do be aware of people around you and there possibilities and skills to defeat you with. Always look at name tags and where there at for staying alive and building to their bases.

Make sure you play in your style of settings to see more chunks of land.

Even disabling objects could get you that much closer to victory.

Being a member of a server can give you a big advantage but this can be a bit too overpowered.

Try and go through players in games like Splegg and they will probably end up in a pit or a void.

Fact Shriller

This chapter will give you lots of facts and tips and making mining for ores much easier that you've wanted to know about like:

  • items can be dropped on pressure plates which will activate them
  • soul sand on top of ice makes you go even slower
  • a creeper was created by a bug in the computer when it was supposed to be a pig
  • breaking the middle of a desert temple will activate TNT once you hit the ground
  • dispensers can shoot out buckets of lava and water
  • killing sheep will now give you mutton and wool
  • braking mob spawners gives you XP
  • mining a material with silk touch normally gives you the exact block you mined
  • adding gunpowder combined with a potion makes it a splash potion.

Ores Collector

You need to know how to get ores the most efficient way otherwise your going no where, and you will never be able to explore Minecraft to its fullest.

Red stone is a stone block filled with tinged or red stone. When you break red stone walk over it or touch it. It will set off some light which can be useful for light in dark caves but this isn't a very affective way. Red stone drops 1-4 pieces of red stone dust which is very useful for red stone contraptions.

Red stone ore

Coal is ideal for cooking food or minerals which can burn for more than one block.

It's very common, and can even be found on Minecraft's surface and in the extreme hills biome. It can even be found on high mountain walls.

Coal ore

Diamonds are one of the rarest blocks to find which has a vein of eight blocks at the highest. People say that pumpkins are harder to find then diamonds which is not always true as I spawned right next to some, although I was very lucky.

Diamond ore

Emerald can only be found in the extreme hills biome only. In a vein of one block separate from each other. This is also useful for trading with villagers.

Emerald ore

Lapis Lazuli is not very useful but gives a great blue look for dyes. Also used to make lapis blocks which can be used for decoration. This works with other ores to.

Lapis luzuli ore

Iron is one of the most basic ores which helps you mine tough ores like diamonds and all the other ores. The only way you can make these materials is by smelting iron ore in a furnace.

Iron ore

Obsidian is a block that is solid black, and can only be mined with a diamond pickaxe.

You also use obsidian to make the nether portal. And stronger power ups like enchantment tables and beacons.

Obsidian

To cool for scHool

Minecraft was made to be changed. Like you can use mods to modify your game which adds programs to your game like the shape shifter mod which can turn you into a creeper!

Texture packs and resource packs are really easy to get. They change the look of your Minecraft's textures and sounds.

Skins can be created by other people or made yourself. Skins change the look of your character.

You can play on servers with other people by typing in the server IP. That way you can play games like hunger games and build battle, worth trying out.
