South Newman PS Special Anzac edition
Today the Year 6 class from Room 5 presented our ANZAC assembly. It was a wonderful event with special guests, CPL Densley and Mr Paul Foster both saying some moving words regarding Australia's history and the ANZAC spirit. One of the highlights of the assembly was when Room 6 created an Army tank out of boxes while an ANZAC poem was read. The assembly finished with the laying of a wreath from each class and one minute silence. Thank you to Mrs Hammond and Room 5 for the amazing job they did. It was a lovely way to end Term 1.
