Incoming Storm Pacifica pier | pacifica, ca
We've been getting hammered with storm after storm lately, so I decided to head out and capture the huge waves, dramatic clouds and beautiful colors of the water.
Everything here was shot on my Fujifilm X-T1 with XF10-24mm and my Lee Filters Seven5 kit with a graduated .6 ND filter.
Here's how I shot these...
- I used a Lee Filters Seven5 .6 graduated ND filter
- Settings: ISO 400, aperture priority, f/8
- Usually I shoot on a tripod, but shot these handheld

Post processing...
This shoot had minimal post processing. I only cropped and adjusted white balance in Lightroom. I usually crop my photos to either 8x10 or 16:9 depending on the composition.
