Dance for the Cure
Dance for the Cure's annual fundraiser, Ribbons of Hope, is a delightful evening of dinner, basket raffles and a true celebration of the power and connection of women. Over $700,000 has been raised to date which has gone directly to local families who are struggling financially from the effects of their fight with breast cancer. Success of this magnitude continues with the unending support of our volunteers and the generosity of our donors.
Ribbons of Hope
Hosted at the Marriott in Bridgewater, NJ, attendees to Ribbons of Hope first get their photos taken on the pink carpet upon arrival, and then were immediately treated to a gallery of gorgeously crafted baskets, the contents of which were collected by a dedicated team of volunteers for months in advance of the event.
Dance for the Cure is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization committed to the prevention and cure of breast cancer through the celebration of dance. We are a 100% volunteer organization. All monies raised are distributed directly to families in Somerset, Middlesex and Hunterdon, NJ counties who have found themselves in difficult and unforeseen circumstances.
Happy faces of basket winners!
Young women from the Kathleen Academy of Dance support the event by performing a lyrical dance to "I Believe." Members of the Hillsborough High School Lady Raiders and Bridgewater-Raritan High School Key Club act as basket runners, and many other community organizations aid Dance for The Cure each year. We are very grateful for their support!
And everyone gets a Goodie Bag!
