Field to Food Learning Day 2016
I would like to take the opportunity to thank you, the farmers and the team at the Bath and West Showground for an inspirational and educational day out for our children. The whole event was superbly organised and the children have come away excited and eager to share their knowledge which will generate some fabulous work back in the classroom. The children have thoroughly enjoyed the day.
The day went really well . The feedback from teachers and helpers I have received so far is all good.
I had one teacher asking to book her place for next year already!
I just wanted to say that I thought the event today was brilliant – there was a fantastic atmosphere and energy, it was a slick operation and from the looks of it, a great success with the children. It was a pleasure to see them all so happy, interested and engaged.
Thank you for letting me be a part of it and well done in your delivery of such an important event.
Pupils & teachers thought it was an excellent event, the children especially enjoyed the demonstrations and hands-on stands.
Well done on today – it looked to be very well organised and enjoyed by all of the children who attended. From my wander around there were really positive reactions from the various stewards to whom I spoke, so I hope that they also got something from the day, as well as a sore throat form all the talking that they would have been doing.

I just wanted to say 'thank you' for letting our school be a part of such a fantastic event yesterday! All the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves as well as learning so much. They all left wanting to be farmers or ask their parents for pet sheep to keep in the garden!!!!! The organisation that must've gone on to make the event run so smoothly and the amount of volunteers during the day was very impressive.
