A.J. Hammons made his return to the lineup, scoring eight points with six rebounds and three blocked shots.
Hammons moved into 11th on the career rebounds list (666) and surpassed 1,100 career points in the win over Incarnate Word.
Isaac Haas scored 17 points with a career-high 12 rebounds and career-high tying four blocks in just 19 minutes. Haas is now averaging 15.0 PPG, 8.0 RPG and 3.0 BPG while shooting 73.7 percent from the field and 70.8 percent from the free throw line.

A.J. Hammons blocked three shots in his return to the lineup, now with 262 career blocks.

Purdue held Incarnate Word to 9-of-44 (.204) shooting from inside the 3-point line.

Purdue's 13 blocked shots were the third most in a game in school history.

Vince Edwards tallied 13 points with six rebounds and two assists. On the season, Edwards is averaging 12.7 PPG, 5.0 RPG and 3.3 APG while shooting 13-of-22 (.591) from the field and 6-of-11 (.545) from 3-point range.

Caleb Swanigan tallied 10 points, six rebounds and three assists in Purdue's win over Incarnate Word.

Thanks to Swanigan's efforts, Purdue grabbed 56 rebounds, the most for the Boilermakers since Dec. 30, 1986 vs. Towson (57).

Purdue's +37 rebound margin was the largest margin in school history.

P.J. Thompson dished out three assists in the win over Incarnate Word.

Through three games, P.J. Thompson has yet to turn the ball over in 58 minutes of action.

Thompson also tied a career high with nine points, posting a perfect shooting night (3-of-3 FGs, 1-of-1 3Ps, 2-of-2 FTs). He has now made 11 straight free throws dating to last year.

Kendall Stephens tallied 12 points on 4-of-4 shooting (3-of-3 from 3-point range). Stephens now has 147 career 3-pointers, threatening to move up the career list. Troy Lewis is 10th on the career 3PM list with 151. Stephens has 26 career games of three or more trifectas.
Kendall Stephens has made at least three 3-pointers in all three games this year and is shooting 10-of-21 (.476) from long distance this year.
Rapheal Davis is now averaging 13.3 PPG and 3.7 APG while shooting 17-of-25 (.680) from the field this year. He is 4-of-6 (.667) from long distance.
Johnny Hill is tied for the team lead in assists (11) and and is shooting 57.1 percent from the field this year.
Dakota Mathias is averaging 6.3 PPG and 3.3 APG while posting a 5.00 assist-to-turnover ratio this year. Mathias is shooting 5-of-12 (.417) from 3-point range this year. 

The Boilermakers hit the road for the first time this year when it travels to Mohegan Sun Arena for the Hall of Fame Tipoff Classic. The Boilermakers face Old Dominion on Saturday at noon
