MY MISSIONS TRIP TO INDIA My name is Rip Logan, and i stepped out of the boat in faith, with my son on a 25-day mission trip to India - August 2015.
I have often said that the end times will be like a fusion of Acts and Exodus on steroids. We went to India hungry for a move of God and were expecting that it would have a ripple effect on the Kingdom through the reaping of a great and continuing harvest. In obedience to the red letter command of our KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS (Revelation 19:16 KJV), the following scripture is the mission statement of our ministry: “And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.” (Matthew 10:7-8 KJV)
My 13-year-old son Waylon and I booked tickets to India for a 25-day trip starting August 11, 2015 to work with The Elijah Challenge conducting Training Events and Evangelistic Healing Crusades in central India. We will be meeting with Subodh Jena Kumar (Elijah Challenge Coordinator for Orissa, India), as well as Sisters Ang and Mercy from Agape Prayer Ministry of Mercy Mission India. We also traveled and ministered with Pastor Ram Babu who runs an orphanage in Tenali. Andhra Pradesh. Sister Mercy will be involved in the outreach in Ram’s village, and will travel with our team for the three weeks that we are in India. She will also be involved in further Elijah Challenge Events.
We have also been contacted by other pastors and leaders who have asked us to hold The Elijah Challenge Training around the city of Hyderabad. We then traveled to Assam and Nagaland in Northeast India to hold further Elijah Challenge Training Events with believers with whom we have networked and assisted Sister Mercy in her vision to start orphanages in North East India.
The Elijah Challenge trains believers to exercise power and authority in the name of Jesus Christ to carry out the works done by Him and the apostles in the Gospels and the Book of Acts confirming the truth of the gospel to the lost. Following the training, Feeding Events were held to draw in local Hindus. The newly-trained disciples then minister to the sick and demonized before the gathered Hindus in the name of Jesus Christ. The many who are miraculously healed will then testify what the Lord did for them before the people. In such a way believers will be strengthened in their faith, and gospel-resistant Hindus will be very open to Jesus Christ with many accepting Him as their only Lord and Savior. Afterwards, deliverance sessions were held as needed if demons manifest themselves while in the presence of the power of the Holy Spirit.
THE UNFOLDING: In December 2014, I had seen various American ministries promoting Pastor Ram Babu and his orphanage in Tenali, India. In January 2015 I went on a long fast encouraged by Pastor David Lankford, with whom many in the remnant (“ecclesia”) haved yoked together in obedience. As I went deeper into this fast, God clearly spoke the scripture from Luke 17:32 to me. “Remember Lot’s wife”---meaning that I should let go of my own life which I cannot save, and redouble my kindness towards orphans. As I obeyed his commands to help the helpless, he would in turn sustain me through the expected turmoil of 2015-2016 and even thrust me into international kingdom work to fulfill my calling. I had previously contributed to the orphanages Hand of Help in Romania (Duduman-Boldea), Bless an Orphan in Ecuador (Wiles-Washburn), and Worshiping Warriors Fellowship (Bree Keyton African Pygmy Rescue). I redoubled my kindness to these precious ministries during the January fast and looked for new opportunities as God led me.
During this time I also made contact with believers in India, including Sister Mercy and her translator Sister Ange. Mercy had a stunning near-deathbed conversion from a devout Muslim to an on-fire follower of Jesus. She received a word from Father Abraham when she was taken to heaven concerning God's love for Abraham’s lost Muslim children. She was visited by Jesus who explained his sacrifice through the cross, his divinity as God, and the error of Islamic teaching that Isa (Jesus in the Koran) is only a prophet. Sister Mercy now walks in a powerful prophetic, healing and deliverance ministry, reaching out to Islamic areas of India as well as to lukewarm “cultural Christian” states in North East India.
As my fast wore on, I began to think about Pastor Ram and his children. I believe that God was leading me into this new opportunity to bless more orphans. I reached out to the American ministries which had promoted his orphanage, and then started to sponsor some of Ram’s children. Ram immediately contacted me, and we began almost daily correspondence and prayer. Ram invited me to travel to India to visit his children and himself, and I agreed. As I networked with Ram, I became aware of his network of American supporters which were mostly in the remnant watchmen & deliverance circles, and the “unfolding” began. I learned that ministries from America had been working for over five years to get a team to his village to assist him in evangelism. I learned that despite lots of hard work, it had been hindered again and again with each attempt. I then learned that watchman/deliverance minister Joseph White was coordinating an outreach under the ministry of The Elijah Challenge (http://www.theelijahchallenge.org/filling-void-india/). This mission was to train Indian believers to help fulfill the Great Commission using the power and authority of Jesus Christ to heal the sick and cast out demons as live demonstrations of the truth of the gospel to resistant Hindus.
In late January I encouraged Pastor Ram to skype-in live on the BlogTalkRadio program of my friend and brother Marcus Samuel during his Pine Ridge Warriors radio program. The unfolding took off that night as Brother Marcus immediately started to prophecy of the glory of the Lord descending on Ram’s village and his children. He also prophesied that a spark of the Holy Spirit’s fire would start at Ram’s village and spread, and a great multitude would be transformed from darkness to light before it was over. Brother Marcus also released the word that several of Ram’s children would be so impacted by this outreach and move of Pentecost in his village that the Lord would raise them up as leaders to train, teach, and guide the remnant body through the tribulation and up to the return of our Lord (Revelation 12:11).
I was so moved by this word from the Lord that I have been networking and laboring for the last six months to get this vision from God into action. I have also received confirming words from Brother Marcus and other prophets of our Lord concerning my ministry work starting in Pastor Ram’s village which would spread out to other areas of India and eventually have an impact in Islamic areas of central Asia and the Middle East.
