Kendall Stephens led Purdue with 14 points, coming in just 17 minutes.

The four 3-pointers marked the 24th time in 67 career games that Stephens has made three or more trifectas in a game.

Stephens now has 141 career 3-pointers in just 67 career games, the second most among Power-5 players in their junior seasons or younger (UCLA's Bryce Alford -- 144).

Caleb Swanigan had a memorable debut, becoming the first Purdue freshman with a double-double in a season opener with 11 points and 11 rebounds. His 11 rebounds are the most for a Purdue freshman in a season opener as well. Swanigan would also dish out two assists in the victory.
Rapheal Davis finished with 14 points, three assists and two rebounds and held preseason All-MEAC performer without a field goal when guarding him.
Rapheal Davis went over 400 career rebounds in the win.
After starting the game 0-of-2 from long distance, Ryan Cline made his last four 3-point attempts and finished his first career game with 13 points and two assists in just 17 minutes of action.
Isaac Haas recorded his first career double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. He also added three blocks and two assists against just one turnover and made 6-of-7 attempts from the free throw line.
Johnny Hill's teams moved to 15-2 when he dishes out five or more assists. He had five helpers in the win over N.C. A&T.
Vince Edwards surpassed 300 career points by tallying 11 points, five rebounds and four assists in the Purdue victory.

Coupled with last year's 80-40 win over Samford, Purdue has won back-to-back season openers by 40 or more points for the first time in school history.

Purdue had 21 assists on its 24 made field goals. Combined with the exhibition game, Purdue has 52 assists on 57 made field goals in its two competitive games.
