Norco Pinnacle

26 x 2.10 Kenda Kadre CC tires
OGC seatbag and a view of the cockpit

I know she’s not much, but my Pinnacle has kind of turned into as close to a trail bike as I can get. I got it second hand from Kijiji in November 2014. After riding it all winter I decided to do some modifications as summer came around so I could enjoy it fully on the trails around Edmonton. I’ve taken it places where no entry-level mountain bike should go and beaten the hell out of it. It has summitted mountains, shredded single track, eaten up roots and gotten coated in mud more times than I could count this summer, and I am looking forward to having it around for many years to come.

Muddy and worn
Skidding off the tread

I’ve updated the stem, bars, grips, tires, seat and post (the originals were stolen), crankset, pedals, chain, freewheel and have made some modifications to the cables and shifters. This is a fun trail bike that I’m not afraid to beat up because I know I can afford to replace the parts on it. That is really what it is all about to me: having fun on whatever bike you have and getting in some amazing riding no matter what.
