EMBRACE THE WORLD CYCLING 3éme Challenge International des Villes Phosphatiéres 2016
End of december 2015 Team Embrace The World Cycling participated at a three stage race in morocco:
3ème Challenge International des Villes Phosphatiéres
8 different teams from all over the world participated - Spain - Algeria - Rwuanda - Austria - Senegal - Marokko - Germany
Arriving at our hotel in Kouribga, the bikes still packed in protection bags
1 RACE: GRAND PRIX KHOURIBGA (133KM)
First stage was tough, all the african riders were strong because it was still their racing season. We are not used to compete in december.
2 RACE: GRAND PRIX FKIH BEN SALEH (136KM)
The second race was way better for our team. The course was flat and we managed to place a few riders in groups. Two riders finished the race in the top 10. The atmosphere was amazing. A lot of people were cheering and pushing us to this great result.
Rest Day
A rest day is always a nice opportunity to sleep in. But right after breakfast we went out for a short ride, had a really tasty traditional moroccan Tagine and finally explored the town of Khourigba.
everything is colorful and full of life
3 RACE: GRAND PRIX BEN GUERIR ( 165 KM)
After the final stage we packed all our gear and took a bus to Marrakesch to spend there one more day
MARRAKESCH
Morocco was a great experience. A special thank goes to all the riders and La Federation Royale Marocaine De Cyclisme
