Hortus Botanicus

Horus Botanicus is one of the oldest botanical gardens in the world. It was first established around 1638, and by now has more than six-thousand plants from all around the world. They are taken care of extensively to create an accurate gerowing condition. The beautiful garden is located in Amsterdam close to the Artis (Amsterdam Zoo), Rembrandts House, and the Resistance Meuseum.

Achterhuis

Achterhuis, Dutch for Secret Annex, was located behind Otto Frank's business, accessed through a hidden hallway behind a inconspicuous bookshelf. The building was first owned by the Frank's in 1940. The Secret Annex had over a million visitors a year, tickets having been booked months in advance.
