50 shades of Blue- The heart is being in bondage

For this project I decided to do something different. I researched creative project ideas and was introduced to nail and string art. I saw many different designs for the nail in string art but not the one I decided to do. I did not want to take the ideas of someone else so I thought of my own design.

Shoping your photo- where you learn how edit photos ( Size/Weight Change )
Shoping your photo- where you learn how edit photos ( Acne Removal )

For this project I decided to photoshop pictures.I also thought that sometimes photo shopping was used as a tool to bully other online. In this project the mission for my partner and I was to find ways that photoshoping can be used in a positive way but also to have fun.

Tree painting- Tree of life

This tree painting was one of the first painting I have ever done. I called it the tree of life because I tried to incorporate the different precipitations and landscapes of life. I used different painting types for this painting and It was not brought to my attention until I was nearly done. This is my least favorite art piece I have ever done.

Reflecting on My Art Work

Every project I did this quarter I decided to do because I wanted to do a variety of different art types. I am definitely able to see growth in myself as an artist over the year. I have seen improvement in my painting and my creativity in general. I was able to learn that there is so much to art besides just drawing. Art can be anything an everything in my opinion. That is just something I was able to think of after taking art yet another year. I have learned that I do not hesitate to try new things because none of my art projects are similar to eachother. I think this is because I enjoy exploring new ideas. The art project I was most proud of is the one I labeled "50 shades of blue". This project took the most time and most mess ups but I was very happy with what I a came out with. The biggest weakness I had this quarter had to be painting and time management. Some projects do not take me very long to complete so I would slack through them. Also as far as painting it is just a skill that I have yet to really get. I am not sure what art I plan on making next but I am willing to explore different ideas!

An artist that inspires me a lot is Jenny Grant. Mixed media art is something that I am fascinated in and I think it is something that I want to learn how to do in the future.
