Devinci Chicane

This was my first actual good bike. I've had it for just over a year now and it was actually given as a gift from a friend of mine. My bike had gotten stolen and, downhearted, I was left taking the bus everywhere. After a while my friend texted me and said that her dad might have a bike for me. I was expecting a department store special that was covered in rust, and I was shocked when I came into their backyard and saw this waiting for me.

It is a 2007 Devinci Chicane that was handmade in Quebec. It has a Sora groupset with 3x9 gearing (a bit strange for roadies, but it is old enough that it still has it). This bike was once used as a racer in triathalons, but after being out competed by new carbon bikes it no longer was worth competing in. For me it has turned into a long-distance ripper that I can ride rain or shine for many different purposes. It is a great do-it-all bike and I'm going to hang on to this one for the rest of my life.

When its this good, it'll last forever.
