Iceland An incredible adventure

In March of 2016, I traveled to Iceland with Wild Photography Holidays. I was told how great Iceland was by many, but I could not have imagined the incredible journey that was to follow. The landscape goes on forever, the angry seas are unforgiving and the ever changing weather keeps it real interesting...

The waves keep thundering in
As the road wanders
And the landscape mesmerizes
the Aurora never fails to entertain
Details can be found
In a matter of minutes the weather moves in
An exhilarating walk on the beach

For this trip I went with the Fuji mirrorless camera system and the new Fuji X-Pro 2 camera body. My Fuji lens selection included a 16mm F1.4, 18mm F2, 35mm F1.4, 56mm F1.2, 90mm F2 and the 55mm to 200mm F3.5-48. The system performed flawlessly in very trying weather conditions. The X-Pro 2 camera is a pleasure to work with and the image quality is outstanding. This trip was a great test for the Fuji mirrorless system and proved to me that I can work with this system in any and every demanding condition.

Thank you Wild Photography Holidays for taking us on this incredible journey. From the moment I arrived in Iceland, everything was taken care of. Geraldine and Martin were experts at finding the most incredible and less travelled locations. Leaving nothing to chance and making sure every detail was covered, and getting us there and back safely. Such fun was had by all.
